Canadian, Amanda Lew Kee was born and raised in Toronto and at age 22, explored her network beyond her hometown by moving to New York.
Amanda started designing in 2008, prior to her graduation from Ryerson University with a B.of.Design in 2010.
AMANDALEWKEE first started as a jewelry line which later developed into nappa leather garments and more recently a women's ready-to-wear line. She launched her women's collection fresh after graduation in 2010, at Toronto's LGFW.
Amanda works very closely with the entertainment industry as she has worked with HBO's TRUE BLOOD, Deadmau5, and has dressed Shenae Grimes, Keri Hilson, and Liz Trinnear. Publications, such as Flare Magazine, Nylon, Teen Vogue, i-D Magazine, Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail have recognized Amanda as a Designer to watch.
